Over the past year, courtesy notices were sent to users of the I-15 Express Lanes
who did not pay the appropriate toll with a FasTrak
transponder. Effective May 11, violations are now being issued to these
users. Customers who have an outdated license plate or billing information on
file, or mount their transponder improperly, could receive a violation.
Violations are issued to the vehicle’s registered owner on file with the
Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Penalties start at $40 and escalate to
$100.
